Rainwater Harvesting PROCESS FLOW

Catchment area – Used to collect and store the captured rainwater.

Conveyance – Used to transport the harvested water from the catchment to the collection site.

Pre-filter – Used to filter the collected rainwater and remove large particles such as leaves, debris etc.

Containment area – Used to store the filtered water ready for external use such as gardening and washing toilets etc.

Water pump – Used to increase the water pressure.
-
Pressure tank - Used to pressurize the water in the whole system, so that when the consumer turn on the tap, the system delivers water instantly.
-
Post-filter – Used to remove harmful contaminants such as pathogens and heavy metals in the water so that it is safe for consuming (drinking, cooking etc.)
